My love, my art

Photography means much more than just picking up a camera and pushing the button to take a picture. A picture is full of different dynamics and personality. What angle the artist shoots at, the type of lighting, all of the different settings set to capture the picture, and on and on it goes. All of these things depend solely on the photographer. Every detail is determined by what the photographer thinks. A great photo will have a great photographer behind it.

How do you become a great photographer? My answer was given to me by several teachers from Hallmark Art Institute of Photography. It seems simple. Start taking pictures. After that there are many different techniques, cameras, and about a million things to learn about photography. But the first step is to pick up a camera and start taking pictures. It's the love you have for photography that will carry you on, eager for more.
